Aaran has lived in New York most of his life, growing up in Ellicottville where he enjoyed hobbies like mountain biking, trail running, and camping. After high school, Aaran joined the Navy, where he spent 5 years maintaining the F/A-18C Aircraft's engines and fuel systems. He deployed twice and after his service he continued his education by pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Sustainable Energy Management from SUNY ESF and minored in Sustainable Construction. Aaran has continued his career in the solar industry ever since.

Walter Smith Jr.
My name is Walter Smith Jr. I am 24 years old, engaged with two kids and a dog. My hobbies include wood working and home theater/ car audio projects, when I’m not spending time with the family. As a kid, I would take toys and electronics apart to see how they worked, however I was usually not too good at putting them back together (good thing I have gotten better at it, as I do a lot of that these days). I like to troubleshoot and problem solve anything that tests my brain and cognitive thinking. I also like to think of myself as a bit of a comedian (most others would probably disagree though).
Senior Sales Consultant
Outside of my interest in renewable energy, I like to spend my time with my wife of 20 years and my 3 daughters. We live on a small horse farm which accounts for a lot of quality time together. What I enjoy most, however, is the time I spend coaching and watching my girls play the various sports that they are into, especially basketball. For me, this is a short-lived part of my life and I plan to enjoy it as much as possible.
My name is Matthew Kaczor. I am an outdoor enthusiast who loves hunting and fishing. My love for the natural environment pushed me to attend Paul Smiths College where I graduated with a degree in Biology. Today I continue showing my appreciation for the environment by installing solar.
Outside of work I spend most of my time rock climbing. Climbing has been my hobby for a decade now and I spend about every weekend outside doing some sort of activity. I enjoy kayaking, mountain and road biking, as well as hiking and snowshoeing.
